BRA Day USA - 2021-10-20

What is BRA Day USA?
October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. It is only fitting that BRA Day is also celebrated in October. BRA, or breast reconstruction day, is a day to recognize the need for more options for women who have undergone mastectomies.
Losing a breast, or breasts, to cancer can have a tremendous impact on a woman’s mental health. There is a great need for more support and access to options for women who have been affected. It is a tough decision on whether to have reconstruction surgery and is a very personal choice. By providing a woman with all the information on reconstruction surgery and other options, we can lighten the burden on her.
You can support the cause and celebrate BRA Day USA by listening to a friend or family member who must make this decision. If you have lost a breast and had reconstruction, share your story on social media using #BRADay.
When is BRA Day USA?
Americans celebrate BRA Day USA on the 3rd Wednesday of October annually. This year, we will celebrate on October 20th, 2021.
