Hobbit Day - 2021-09-22
What is Hobbit Day?
Hobbit Day is on September 22nd. During this event, you can explore the Shire and celebrate the birthdays of Bilbo and Frodo Baggins. In the Lord of the Rings, Bilbo and Frodo were both born in the Third Age. Their birth dates were both in Shire-reckoning. Shire-reckoning is a way of writing years. Bilbo was born in 1290 and Frodo was born in 1368. Celebrate Tolkien's birthday by joining the festivities. The best way to honor the author is to read his books or watch his movies. Having a party with friends is another way to enjoy the day.
