August 19 - International Bow Day

What Is International Bow Day?

Bows are made from a piece of fabric tied into a pretty design, with two loops and two hanging strands. They are a fabulous accessory and can be attached just about anywhere; to a ponytail, to a collar, to some jeans, anywhere! Since their invention in the 18th century, when they were primarily worn by men, bows have evolved to become extraordinarily creatively designed. Nowadays, they are made with just about any fabric you can imagine and come in a wide range of colours and patterns. Celebrate your uniqueness on this day with a gorgeous bow, placed wherever you would like. Add to your style, or enhance it completely.
