International Ninja Day - 2021-12-05
What is International Ninja Day?
Ninjas are masters of espionage, assassination, guerrilla warfare, and sabotage. They are known for their signature black outfits and their incredible speed. These mysterious warriors are rumored to be the masters of Kuji-Kiri, an eastern magical practice that gave them the ability to combine their natural abilities with magic. The history of International Ninja Day begins with the history of the ninja. The original ninja hailed from the Iga Province in Japan. They were warriors who lived during the Sengoku period (1467–1603). These ninjas were trained in special techniques and were experts in stealth and assassination missions. The traditional black clothing of the ninja was actually a result of how they were represented in theater. The ninja were not noblemen; they were commoners. To protect themselves from the ruling classes, they dressed in black and hid their identity, becoming invisible like everyone else. This week is International Ninja Day, which is a great excuse to watch lots of Ninjas movies. A must-see list includes The Karate Kid , Kill Bill , and The Last Samurai . And if you want to throw in some Ninjas TV shows, don't forget about Heroes and the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles .
