National Babysitter Day was founded by Safetywhys.com in 2003 in order to bring to light how much appreciation and respect babysitters are owed. Although, there are no official records or presidential proclamations which make this a true "national" day, most would agree that it is an important day that deserves to be celebrated. After all, what would we do without our babysitters?
