National Backward Day - 2022-01-31

What is National Backward Day?
Reverse everything you do on National Backward Day! This day is to take a look at our actions and see how reversing them can be effective, fun - even enlightening.
National Backward Day is a day to shake up your routine and do something different. It was created in 2005 as an alternative way of looking at life, which encourages people not only to think outside the box but also to use their brains more than usual!
National backward day challenges you with new ideas so that we can all live our lives creatively every single year without getting bored too easily
When is National Backward Day?
National Backward Day is celebrated on January 31, which means that it's time for everyone to do things differently. This day encourages us all to take a step in reverse and try something new!
History of National Backward Day
Backward Day was created by two women, Sarah Nicole Miller and Megan Emily Scott. They had been on a farm thinking about arts and crafts when the idea came to them for backward day; this would be next Sunday! The two of them decided right then what rules we should all follow- such as not wearing shoes (you'll get dirty), but they didn't know how else people were going to celebrate so instead created it on January 29th, 1961 which became known worldwide because everyone followed suit from there forward each year since then...and thus began "Backward Weekends"!
