National Be Heard Day - 2021-03-07
What is National Be Heard Day?
Every year on the 7th of March, National Be Heard Day encourages small businesses to make themselves heard. It recognizes that there are over 145 million small businesses across the country fighting for their place in the market. In this noisy world, it's easy to be overlooked by big business. Small businesses are the backbone of the American economy. In the United States, around 47% of the workforce works for a small business. However, small businesses are unique in many ways. They supply cutting-edge services and products, and they also reinvest in small-town America and local neighborhoods. When small business owners live, work, and play in our communities, their dollars stay and grow. Many of these businesses create custom products solving unique problems for big businesses. Not only that, they support our schools in dollars, as mentors in the classroom, and on the field as coaches.
