The term “beverage” is broadly defined. This day is about celebrating all beverages. Regardless of what we like to drink and what we like to drink it with, beverages are a huge part of our lives. Beverage Day allows us to explore our love for beverages a bit deeper and experiment a little. Grab a bottle, a can, a glass, or a six-pack of your favorite beverage. Sit down in or outdoors and enjoy! Life is good!
Try a beverage that you have never had before and tag #beverageday
National Beverage Day falls on May 6. This day is celebrated by all. Sit back, relax, and enjoy your favorite beverages. They come in many forms. And whether you prefer a hot or a cold one, the good news is, there is one for every taste.
The origins of this day is a little uncertain. The day was known as Bottled Carbonated Beverage day before the 1920s. It was thought of as a way to promote bottled fizzy drinks as “pure” and “wholesome!” People became more healthy and no one can pinpoint exactly when Bottled Carbonated Beverage Day changed to the less specific National Beverage Day, but ads from the 1920s started alternating between the two and later it was only National Beverage Day.
