What Is National Cancer Survivor’s Day?

Cancer is one of the most prevalent and fatal diseases around in the modern world. National Cancer Survivors Day celebrates anyone who has a history of the disease, from the point of diagnosis through the remainder of life and encourages them to gather with family and friends to raise awareness and support other survivors.

When Is National Cancer Survivor’s Day?

On the first Sunday in June, we celebrate the incredible strength of cancer survivors.

History Of National Cancer Survivor’s Day

The nonprofit National Cancer Survivors Day Foundation established National Cancer Survivors Day in 1988.
