National Cheese Doodle Day - 2022-03-05
What is National Cheese Doodle Day?
On March 5th, National Cheese Doodle Day, Americans will celebrate by eating cheesy snacks that are orange. These treats come in many different flavors and packaging. Some are fried or baked. Others are puffed or crunchy. Cheese doodles are difficult to trace back to their origin. Many food historians have different ideas about who invented them. Some think Edward Wilson and/or Clarence J. Schwebke created the snack in Wisconsin in the 1930s while others believe it was invented under a different name in 1912 by a woman named Anna Aloise Juke of Chicago. Cheese doodles are delicious, cheesy snacks. They come in a variety of flavors. Eat them as a snack, or use them to top off a meal. Just make sure your fingers don’t turn orange!
