We can get behind anything celebrating pizzas. National Cheese Pizza Day is just such a day in which we honor the humble cheese pizza – no other toppings required. Cheddar, gouda, mozzarella, pecorino, goat cheese, gorgonzola, parmigiano, fontina, and provolone: these are the most popular cheeses from around the world to top pizzas. Take your pick: one, two, three, four or more can be added to your pizza to create an Italian treat befitting the King of Rome. Turn this day into a fun get-together with friends and family for a pizza-making party.

September 5th is National Cheese Pizza Day. We’d make up a cheesy joke, but you’d think not think it’s gouda.
