National Cheesecake Day

What Is National Cheesecake Day?

A cheesecake is a thick, creamy dessert made from a sweetened cheese mixture poured into a biscuit crumb base. Cheesecakes can be baked or just refrigerated and recipes vary based on this fact. A traditional cheesecake is simply a sweetened cream cheese mixture that is chilled until firm, and then topped with fruits, chocolate sauce, or anything else your heart desires. Other recipes for cheesecake involve flavouring the mixture itself before leaving it to set. Whether you make it yourself or pick one up from your favourite bakery, you’re bound to find a flavour that pleases your palate.

When Is National Cheesecake Day?
