March 23 is National Chip And Dip Day. This special day is just for the classic chip-and-dip combo that's loved by many across the country. Chips and dip are quick and easy party food that also makes for great parties. It's enjoyed for just about any occasion, from watching the game to hunkering down for a big storm. It’s a sweet and salty story. Two great tastes that taste great together. On March 14, we celebrated Potato Chip Day, and now that we have a partner, the dip, we can celebrate twice as much. We’ve been dipping our food for a long time. As early as the 13th century, people have been making dips similar to hummus. These are some of the first dip recipes found in history books.  

National Chip And Dip Day is an annual celebration on March 23rd.
