National Chocolate Milk Day - 2021-09-27

What is National Chocolate Milk Day?
Sir Hans Sloane invented this delicious chocolate drink in the late 1860s. He was an Irish physician to the English Duke in Jamaica. Locals there mixed cocoa and water, which Sloane found horrible. After some experimenting, he found that mixing cocoa with milk created a much more palatable treat. And so, chocolate milk was born! Since its invention, the milk has grown in popularity and the supply has increased tremendously. Enjoy a cool glass of chocolate milk while you read more about Sir Hans Sloane.
