National Family Day encourages us all to gather around the dinner table and enjoy a nice meal together. It has been proven time and time again that regular family dinners improve mental health, wellbeing, and risk of addiction in children and adolescents. Family meals allow for everyone to put away all their distractions and spend time focusing on creating healthy and structured bonds. When families bond, they’re happier, healthier, and better as a unit. When children feel that they are part of a team, or a unit, they feel more safe and more willing to speak about issues that may bother or hurt them. All in all, a family meal is beneficial for all members, and leads to amazing benefits.
When Is National Family Day?
