National First Responders Day - 2021-10-28
What is National First Responders Day?
If you have ever been in an accident, you will have noticed the uniformed members who rush to the scene to assist in any way they can. These are our first responders. There are 4.6 million first responders in America today. Some have made this their career, while others are volunteers. These are firefighters, police, emergency medical technicians, paramedics, and even 911 operators. They all come together to support the community in times of crisis. This job is not an easy one. It comes with high stress, PTSD, and time away from the family. National First Responders Day honors these people who act in an emergency and do all they can to save lives. You can honor your local first responders on October 28th by supporting them with a donation. A fantastic way to say thank you is to treat them to a plate of cupcakes or other treats. Give your local first responders a shout-out on National First Responders Day on social media using #FirstRespondersDay.
