National Flashlight Day - 2021-12-21
What is National Flashlight Day?
On December 22nd, many parts of the northern hemisphere experience the longest night of the year. It is also known as Winter Solstice. This day marks the shortest day of the year in the northern hemisphere. The word ‘solstice’ originates from Latin, meaning ‘the sun stands still.’ Flashlights have a long history. In recent years, there has been a digital version of the flashlight on every mobile phone. However, when you need light when you’re in the dark, nothing compares to the original.
