National GOE Day - 2021-10-03

What is National GOE Day?
GOE: Growth. Overcome. Empower. These are the three major objectives of the My CARE Initiative that supports those who’ve overcome abuse and trauma. Through their art workshops and seminars, this community initiative focuses on healing, recovery, and support. Art is a fantastic way to express emotion and connect with others who have similar stories to share. National GOE Day focuses on supporting these men and women in their recovery journeys by highlighting the benefits of art as therapy.
You can support National GOE Day this year by attending a seminar on the power of art in healing and volunteering your time at a shelter for abused people. Connect with others and share your story, too: you never know who might be inspired to speak out about their own experiences upon hearing yours.
When is National GOE Day?
We recognize National GOE Day on the first Sunday of October, this being October 3rd in 2021.
History of National GOE Day
