National Grammar Day - 2022-03-04
What is National Grammar Day?
Some may say that English grammar is all about rules, but it really isn't. Grammar is actually a system for understanding English and the structure of words. Understanding the system and the structure helps us to better understand the language, which also helps us learn new languages. If you really love grammar, then you’ll want to celebrate this important day. Even if you already know the difference between they’re and there and their and they, you can still use the day to learn more about grammar. Or you could use the day to celebrate all things related to the perfectly written word.
When is National Grammar Day?
National Grammar Day is observed in the United States on March 4.
History of National Grammar Day
National Grammar Day was created in 2008 by Martha Brockenbrought who was the founder of the Society for the Promotion of Good Grammar.
