April 30th is National Honesty Day. Each year, it challenges us to be truthful in all we do. We know the different kinds of lies. We’ve spared someone’s feelings or fudged the truth just a little or maybe told an all-out whopper. Unless we walked on water, we’ve all told a lie or two. Honesty is important. We can be honest in business and with our children. We all make mistakes. Sometimes we don’t know the answer or can’t control the outcome. But we can be honest and control our own words and actions. Let’s do this together!

Once upon a time, M. Hirsh Goldberg wrote The Book of Lies. He decided that April 30 would be National Honesty Day because this was the opposite of April Fool's Day, which he despised.
