Hop-A-Park Day encourages us to take some time to explore the parks in our area. Spend the day trying out each one and seeing what they have to offer. Some may be better for bird watching, others better for kids. On the way, don't forget to get to know the members of the community that you meet along the way and take some time to find out if there's anything you can do to get even more involved. After all, the best communities are the ones where everybody does their part.

National Hop-A-Park Day is observed on the first Saturday in July.
