National Just One Human Family Day - 2021-09-12
What is National Just One Human Family Day?
National Just One Human Family Day is the 12th of September. It's a reminder that we are all on one planet, which can be one big family. In 2001, there were over 6.2 billion people on Earth. By 2020, the population had grown to over 7.8 billion. That’s a lot of people to share the same planet. Just One Human Family Day reminds us that we are all one human race and that we must take care of each other. We are all different. We come from different backgrounds, speak different languages, and believe in different things. Yet we are the same. We are all human beings living on one planet. As brothers and sisters, we share the same experiences and emotions. We all want to live in peace. Just One Human Family Day is a day to celebrate the fact that we are all one family. We share just one planet. How do we do that? One way is by singing “We Share Just One Planet” by Sarah Stevens and Catherine Marchese.
