National Lager Day - 2021-12-10
What is National Lager Day?
December 10th is National Lager Day. It's the third most popular beverage after water and tea. Lagers are typically known as light, summer beers. We believe that every season deserves to be celebrated with a few of your favorite things. Lagers are distinguished from other beers by using a cold-conditioning process. The types of yeast used are referred to as “bottom-fermenting” yeast or yeast that can develop at colder temperatures. Until the invention of refrigeration, brewers kept their beer cold by storing it in cellars dug into the ground and filled with ice. They stored it there to brew a lighter, crisper beer that was refreshing. Summer in a bottle. This winter, celebrate the midwinter season with a taste of Summer. There are so many choices when it comes to beer: light, dark, and craft varieties. But we've got your back — we recommend one of our favorites. Grab a few friends and enjoy the flavor of Summer all year long.
