National Latino AIDS Awareness Day - 2021-10-15
What is National Latino AIDS Awareness Day?
The goal this year was for people living in the U-S, including Puerto Rico as well as USVI's (US Virgin Islands)to increase awareness about human immunodeficiency virus/acquired Immunodeficiency syndrome which causes HIV/AIDS infections among Latinos here but also abroad where there have been many cases lately due largely from travelers coming back infected with Ebola, etc... The idea behind these celebrations started back during Reagan’s presidency when he created National minority History Week his way out just wanting individuals belonging into one or more ethnic groups.
