National Law Enforcement Appreciation Day - 2022-01-09
What is National Law Enforcement Appreciation Day?
It’s not just about buying them a cup of coffee or a box of donuts. You can show your appreciation for their hard work and sacrifice by taking the time to appreciate them in the midst of their busy lives. It’s important to show police officers that we understand how difficult their job is, and how much we appreciate their efforts. This day is set aside to thank and support our local law enforcement officers for their dedication and service to the community. There are many different people who work in law enforcement. According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, there are local police officers, state troopers, and federal officers. Law enforcement can be a demanding job that takes dedication and hard work. It is also a thankless job because most people do not recognize or appreciate what law enforcers do for them until something bad happens.
