National Logistics Day celebrates and honours one of the most important industries to our global economy. The logistics industry can trace its roots all the way back the the days of the Silk Road, when it was the backbone of the Chinese economy. By 1956, the invention of the container ship had changed forever how goods are transported, and morphing the industry into the superpower it is now.

National Logistics Day is celebrated on the 28th of June annually.

Logistics Plus Inc founded National Logistics Day in 2019 to celebrate the important, growing logistics industry. In 2019, the Registrar at National Day Calendar proclaimed National Logistics Day to be observed on June 28th annually.
