A martini is a mixed alcoholic drink that is incredibly popular. Sometimes served with an olive or an onion, Martinis are very open to customisation and come with their own set of lingo. The drink rose in popularity with the release of the James Bond movies in the late 1960's and have remained a crowd favourite ever since.

National Martini Day is observed on June 19th of each year.
