Masachusetts was the sixth state to join the union of the United States of America. It is named after the indigenous people that populated the area when the explorers and pilgrims first arrived. Soon after the first colony was founded, Massachusetts became a hub for innovation and industry. Many historical events took place in this state, namely the Boston Tea Party and the founding of the Sons of Liberty. Not to mention, the stunning bays and shorelines that line the state, producing gorgeous views from just about anywhere.
