May Ray Day celebrates the turning of the seasons where we say goodbye to cold noses and toes and say hello to sun tans and summer breezes. Celebrate this day by finding a nice sunny spot outside and soaking up some rays.
When Is National May Ray Day?
National May Ray Day is welcomed warmly on May 19th of every year!
History Of National May Ray Day
Richard Ankli, resident of The Broadway Fun Spot in St. Joseph, Michigan is said to have created this day in honor of his brother Ray, who was born on May 19th. However, the turning of the seasons has been celebrated for centuries as ancient societies calculated their sows and their harvests and prepared for less harsh times than they’d experienced in the cold, dark winters.
