National Metastatic Breast Cancer Awareness Day - 2021-10-13
What is National Metastatic Breast Cancer Awareness Day?
Metastatic Breast Cancer is a terrible disease. Metastatic Breast Cancer is a type of cancer that has spread from early-stage breast cancer to other organs and tissues outside of the breasts. These areas affected are usually the lungs, bones, and stomach. Medically speaking, this cancer is stage four cancer. At this point of the cancer battle, the only treatment option for patients is to focus on the advanced cancer sites and the awful side effects. Right now, there is no cure for Metastatic Breast Cancer. National Metastatic Breast Cancer Awareness Day is an opportunity to increase awareness of this disease and support those fighting it. Show your support on social media with #NationalMetastaticBreastCancerAwarenessDay and donate to organizations funding research for cures and treatments.
