National No Bra Day - 2021-10-13

What is National No Bra Day?
National No Bra Day is an annual observance on October 13. Women are encouraged to go braless as a means to encourage breast cancer awareness. National No Bra Day was first recognized on July 9, 2011, but within three years it had moved to the 13th day of the National Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October.
This important day raises breast cancer awareness and raises money for research for cures and treatments. Why no bra? Many breast cancer survivors are simply unable to go without a bra. Their bras usually hold their prosthesis in place after surgeries. This day is also a reminder for women to be screened for breast cancer.
For National No Bra Day, make an appointment for a mammogram or a breast exam. Encourage your friends and family to do the same by sharing #NationalNoBraDay on social media.
