National Oyster Day - 2021-08-05

What is National Oyster Day?
Oysters are a seafood enjoyed in many countries. They are typically eaten raw with a squeeze of lemon but can also be enjoyed a multitude of different ways, such as fried or in a chowder. Whether eaten raw or fresh, oysters are loaded with benefits for our hearts, skin, brains, lungs, and kidneys. They also happen to be great members of the ocean community, helping to filter and clean water. The taste of oysters varies greatly depending on the body of water in which they're grown, more evidence of how interesting these little mollusks are.
