National Parents’ Day is the day to celebrate, you guessed it, our parents. We’ve already done moms and dads separately, why not have a day to celebrate both at once. After all, their role as a unit is much different than their roles as individuals. They protect, they teach, and they make sacrifices daily just to ensure that we, their children, have great lives and turn into wonderful people. Take this opportunity to let your parents know just how much you love and appreciate them. Treat them to some gifts, pay for a meal, or just spend some quality time with them. You’ll be glad for it in the future.
When Is National Parents’ Day?
National Parents’ Day falls on the fourth Sunday of July every year.
History Of National Parents’ Day
National Parents’ Day was established in 1994 by President Bill Clinton, with the signing of the Congressional Resolution that recognised the “…uplifting, and supporting the role of parents in the rearing of children.”
