On March 8th, celebrate National Peanut Cluster Day! Use melted chocolate and peanuts for a sweet and salty treat. Peanut clusters are a delicious candy. They’re made from chocolate, but they didn’t exist until about the same time a big peanut breakthrough occurred. The breakthrough was in farming, when farmers learned how to grow peanuts and harvest them with steel tools. This new way of growing peanuts allowed manufacturers to create peanut clusters for everyone to enjoy. We all know that chocolate and peanuts are a match made in heaven. The very simplicity of the salty peanuts added to sweetened chocolate is an irresistible temptation that is hard to resist. Even today, confectioneries find them to be a popular addition to cookie tins or other holiday baskets. Their simplicity allows bakers to easily round out any cookie or bar tray.

National Peanut Cluster Day comes on the 8th of March every year.
