The York Peppermint Pattie was created by Henry Kessler in 1940 at his company, the York Cone Company. The patty is only sold in Northeastern United States, Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, and Florida. Peppermint Patty Candy is a refreshing treat perfect for cookie trays and gifting. These Peppermint Patties have a creamy peppermint center that’s covered in semi-sweet chocolate. In 1966, the Peanuts comic strip introduced Peppermint Patties to the public. Peppermint Patty, Patricia Reichardt's real name, was one of the characters in the comic strip.
