On the 20th of the third month, the night becomes equal to the day. It is National Proposal Day. For many, this is a day they have been waiting for, but never received their proposal. For others, it’s a day to suddenly propose. It's not just an excuse to get drunk and wear daisies in your hair. It's also a day of proposal making. Make sure to let your boyfriend or girlfriend know that you're open to marrying them. If direct hints haven't worked, take the next step with a very direct approach. If you know someone who is getting engaged, there are subtle ways to share your excitement. For example, you can leave bridal magazines lying around, or ask your favorite baker what the most popular wedding cake flavor is. If you want to go big, you can also ask what your friends’ favorite engagement ring was and take a picture of it.
