National Red Wine Day - 2021-08-28

What is National Red Wine Day?
Wine drinkers, it's National Red Wine Day on August 28th! It's time to crack open the spicy reds. The best part is that you can use them for tailgate parties and other autumn activities.
Throughout the year, there are so many wine days to celebrate. For example, National Prosecco Day, which is right before the fall harvest, is a great time to taste some of the last summery wines. But if you're more of a red drinker, then there are many wine days for you too. You can find Merlot Day in late October, Cabernet Sauvignon Day in November, Pinot Noir Day in December, and Port Day in January.
The seasons are changing. When the fall arrives, we can look forward to delicious new foods. Restaurants will be happy to serve them with a beautiful glass of wine. No better way to enjoy a great bottle than with great company and food. Red varietals produce deep red wines as well as rich browns and ambers. They hint at the coming seasonal change in foods, too.
