National Savings Day - 2021-10-12
What is National Savings Day?
Do you have a savings account? A piggy bank? A rainy day cash envelope in your sock drawer? Saving money is tricky, especially if you're tight on money. National Savings Day is observed on October 12th to raise awareness of the importance of saving money. The act of saving isn't as difficult as it may at first seem. With a savings goal, you'll be more motivated to stick to your mission to save as much money as you can. Whether it be for a down payment for a car, a holiday overseas, a new pair of Nike Airforce 1s, or a new laptop, saving money is easier when you have a target to visualize. Just a few dollars a week will help you to get into the habit of saving money. Then, you better structure a monthly budget to reach your savings goal. If you're new to saving, why not approach your bank to set you up with a savings account? Or, create a list of things you'd like to buy or a holiday destination and stick it to your fridge so that you can see it daily.
