National Scrabble Day - 2022-04-13

What is National Scrabble Day?
In honor of National Scrabble Day, we’re enthralled by the game. Alfred Mosher Butts invented it in 1938,In the midst of the depression, two unemployed people developed a word game. After being called Spell-it and Criss-Cross, Scrabble was finally trademarked in 1948. It wasn't until then that the game was produced and sold. and today, seven decades later, we can’t get enough of it. We also love the blank tiles that come with the game; they help us in our quest to create new words. And when you get triple word scores, it’s like winning the jackpot.
Scrabble is a fun board game for two to four players. Each player must form words from lettered tiles on a board marked with a 15 x 15 grid. In the United States, Scrabble is a trademark of Hasbro, Inc. Scrabble is sold in 121 countries and in 29 different languages. Over 150 million sets have been sold worldwide.
