National Spaghetti Day - 2022-01-04

What is National Spaghetti Day?
Spaghetti is a long, thin, solid, cylindrical pasta. It is traditional Italian cuisine. Like other pasta, spaghetti is made of milled wheat and water and sometimes enriched with vitamins and minerals. Spaghetti is typically made from durum wheat semolina.
Early Spanish settlers brought pasta to America. As the US population grew, immigrants from Italy arrived in America (most from Naples). They brought their love of pasta with them. We have been making spaghetti ever since.
