Very often, the honorable deeds of young people go unnoticed. Many youngsters participate in Lions Clubs around the country that aim to do good in their communities.
National Speak Up for Service Day was created to highlight the importance of community service for young people. It is the perfect day to give back and share insights on how to make a better world. Every year, thousands of young men and women gather at the National Service public speaking contest organized by the North Dakota State Lions Convention.
With community service in mind, you too can celebrate National Speak Up for Service Day this year by recognizing the Lions club members for all that they do.
