National Tackle Kids Cancer Day - 2021-09-15

What is National Tackle Kids Cancer Day?
Tackle Kids Cancer Day is a national movement that rallies communities to support pediatric cancer research. It gives you a chance to be part of the solution. On September 15th, get involved by volunteering and helping raise the funds needed for the research.
Did you know that only 4% of federal cancer dollars go to pediatric cancer research? It is time for us to take action. On Tackle Kids Cancer Day, we need to raise our voices and find a cure for cancer in kids.
The day honors pioneering research and patient care programs at the Children’s Cancer Institute (CCI) at Hackensack University Medical Center. CCI is pioneering over a dozen clinical trials to treat aggressive types of pediatric cancer. Most notably, their extensive pediatric neuro-oncology program is leading the way to establish new protocols in treating this dire diagnosis.
