National Tile Day - 2022-02-23
What is National Tile Day?
The world has a new holiday: World Tile Day. It was created in 2017 to celebrate the wonderful function of tile in bathrooms and kitchens around the world. It is a day for people to take notice of their tile and consider how it can be used in their home. Tiles date back thousands of years — the earliest ones were discovered in Egypt and date to about 4,700 BC. Tiles were originally used for architectural purposes like flooring and building walls, but they became popular as bathroom decor during the Victorian era because of their durability and resistance to water and mold. If you are building a new home or renovating, time is of the essence! You want to research your tile options in-depth in order to get the most bang for your buck. I mean, tiles can really change the look and feel of a room, and they’re much more expensive than paint!
