What is National Vinegar Day?
Vinegar sometimes called distilled or spirit vinegar has been in households worldwide for thousands of years. Vinegar appropriately takes its name from the French term vin aigre, or “sour wine. The acidity of vinegar gives itself some antibacterial properties, vinegar can also be used in medical treatments and home remedies. With so many uses, benefits, and recipes, no wonder why the whole country will be celebrating National Vinegar Day on November 1.

History of National Vinegar Day
Vinegar has a rich history. Traces of vinegar have been found in Egyptian urns from around 3000 B.C. Babylonian scrolls. The origin of this day is unknown.
