Vodka is a colorless, odorless liquid, making it the perfect spirit to enjoy in cocktails and mixed drinks. With an alcohol percentage of 30% or more in America, it is sure to provide a kick. Vodka was first introduced in the 9th century in Russia. It has become a staple of bars the world over – and home bars, too. Distilleries now also infuse flavors such as lime, cinnamon, and vanilla. National Vodka Day was created to celebrate the most widely consumed spirit in the world. To take part in the celebrations, host a cocktail party where guests can enjoy various drinks made with Vodka. Booking a tour of a local distillery is also a great way to learn more about this versatile spirit.
