National Whiskey Sour Day - 2021-08-25
What is National Whiskey Sour Day?
A whiskey sour is a whiskey based cocktail mixed with lemon juice and sugar. The whiskey is most often bourbon, and the drink is garnished with a maraschino cherry and orange. They are shaken, and can be served with or without ice. Add a little bit of egg white to the recipe and you'll have what we call a Boston sour! Have a whiskey sour with a friend tonight, and while you're enjoying your drinks you can discuss more about the amazingly interesting history of whiskey.
