National Wyoming Day recognizes the 44th state to join the union. Also known as the Equality State, Wyoming was the first state to grant women the right to vote and deserves the recognition for leading the US and the world in that break from tradition. “In a vast open country where homesteaders had to rely on one another, man or woman, equality had real meaning, true grit.”
