History Of Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive Day
The drive began in October of 1991 and was made annual when the pilot program was massively successful. It was later moved to the spring as this is the time when food banks struggle with short supplies of food.
Beans and hotdogs are a simple recipe popular at summertime parties and barbecues. Believed to have been invented sometime after the 1890’s, it comprises cut up hotdogs cooked in a sauce with some baked beans.
