Support Your Local Chamber of Commerce - 2021-10-20

What is Support Your Local Chamber of Commerce?
October’s Support Your Local Chamber of Commerce Day is observed annually on the third Wednesday of the month. The goal of this group is strengthening local businesses of all sizes. The best way to honor this organization is to patronize your local chamber business.
The U.S. Chamber of Commerce is the largest business organization in the U.S., founded in 1912. It was formed to represent the interests of U.S. businesses to Congress and the White House. President William Howard Taft first proposed the formation of a business organization in 1911, arguing that it was needed to represent business and labor interests before Congress.
The U.S. Chamber of Commerce offers many programs to both local and national businesses. Whether it’s raising awareness, setting initiatives, or campaigning for better markets, the Chamber provides support to the communities they serve. Additionally, they provide outstanding resources for startups, online businesses, and those looking to advance their business.
