The main aim of Teal Talk Day is to raise awareness for women with ovarian cancer, as well as trying to show our support. On this day, we wear teal to show our care. There is no standard screening process for ovarian cancer, which means that talking about the diseases is one of our best methods of defense. It is important to know the signs and symptoms, as early detection can save lives. In the time it takes to have one discussion about ovarian cancer and the symptoms, approximately 28 women will be diagnosed with ovarian cancer. To get more information on the disease, its symptoms, how to raise awareness, and how to show your support for the community, visit www.ovarcome.org.
